Animated Map of the Spread of White-nose Syndrome in North America

Below is a link to a animated map demonstrating the spread of the WNS fungus in North America and showing the range of bat species in North America. This animated map shows that the spread of WNS is via bat to bat through their migratory patterns since 2006 to 2011. On this page there are several neat features.
1. If you mouse over on the arrow in the circle in the upper left hand side of the page you can animate the map to show the spread of WNS in North America from 2006 to 2011.
2. If you click on the number two in the circle in the left hand corner of the page it will take you to a gallery of bats in the United States. If you mouse over the individual pictures of the bats you can see their range throughout North America.
