The 43rd Annual Mad-City Hodag Hunt

September 14-16, 2007

The 2007 Hodag Hunt was held at , north of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. The park featured 5,200 scenic acres of steep hills, bluffs, and deep valleys plus two lakes, a waterfall and small caves. Over 100 cavers attended from the around the Midwest. The guest speaker was Dr. Richard Slaughter from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Rich is the director of the Geology Museum at UW-Madison and gave an interesting talk on Pleistocene vertebrate deposits in Midwest caves. Thank you to Rich and everyone who attended and contributed to the event.
